After confirming that there were no more BOSSes hiding around, the 2 of them readied their spears as they crossed the bridge. Yang Ke’er was about to step forwards, her spear readied to face the ordinary zombies when Zhang Xiao Qiang stopped her.

“If you kill to your heart’s content now, there will be corpses everywhere. How will we drive across then? You go and move the corpses?” He chided her lightly, as she pouted and did not speak!

“See the empty area by the bridge? Go there and wait. I’ll go attract their attention, kill each one that you see. If there are two, take down two. Don’t ever faint again!”

Zhang Xiao Qiang kept nagging, and Yang Ke’er’s face was showing an irritated expression. Seeing her expression, he was reminded of his own past, where his father had often lectured him, and he had the same look of displeasure.

“Maybe this is the rebellious phase of teenagers? Maybe I really have become old?” Zhang Xiao Qiang decided not to think further and went to engage the zombies.

As he expected, the moment he got close, the zombies began to lunge for him without thinking. The group began to move towards the empty area. He attracted their attention, while Yang Ke’er began killing the zombies with relish.

After attracting about 20 to 30, Zhang Xiao Qiang turned around in preparation to join Yang Ke’er and fight the zombies, and all he saw was that the ground was strewn with corpses. There were maybe 2 or 3 that remained standing.

Seeing the zombies flying around and lunging aimlessly, Zhang Xiao Qiang felt dispirited again. Yang Ke’er had blatantly not listened to him, she used all sorts of techniques and purposely did not pierce. In a flash, she had cleaned up the entire place and looked towards Zhang Xiao Qiang with an entertained look.

“Ai~~~~” He felt like he had failed, other people had managed to raise some cute lolis, why was his incredibly wilful?! Forget it, let her be!

Thinking about the possible loot, his mood became better, and took the initiative to joke with Yang Ke’er: “Don’t you usually pick up items after killing the monsters?”

“Uncle ah! Are you having a fever? Those monsters can’t wear clothes, what items would they drop?!” She could not understand his greedy nature.

“Haha! There might not be treasure drops, but there might be treasure chests!” He spoke while climbing towards the King Long coach.

Yang Ke’er went back to the tractor and sat in, on her left, a huge pile of snacks, and on her right, there was shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser, hand moisturizer, lip gloss and even brow pencils and all sorts of cosmetic tools.

She munched on her snacks while admiring the BonMarche bag in her hands. Zhang Xiao Qiang had no interest in these sort of things and didn’t even know what their value was.

“Ai~~~~” He felt like he had sighed countless times today. The loot today were only some snacks and female cosmetics, and the bag that Yang Ke’er had not let go of ever since he found it.

He had also found a Nokia phone, which was inside a leather pouch. There was a spare battery, and the moment he saw this phone, he took a liking to it. The original products could not be compared with his old lousy model, furthermore, this was out in October 2012, and its value on the net had been 8,888.

At that time, he had been in shock. Such a handphone could allow him to build 3 computers. Although he didn’t know what use the phone would bring in the apocalyptic world, he decided to bring it along.

Zhang Xiao Qiang sighed as he looked at the girl. Honestly speaking, the girl was truly beautiful! She was much better to look at when compared to those girls from those games online. Even Yang Ke’er that ‘huge’ loli could not be compared with this girl.

All the messages have been read. Zhang Xiao Qiang sighed out again, his mood depressed.

The wife of the owner of this phone had hidden with a cat called Mimi inside the house. The owner of the phone had either been eaten or became a zombie. His wife was still waiting for him to go home to save her, but her husband would never be able to make it back forever!
