Even so, Zhang Che grew excited instead when he saw none of the four mid-tier bronze-quality and above exotic beasts dropped a single beast card.

The two waited outside the ravine for a short while. The Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon soon returned, informing Zhang Che that there wasn’t any danger inside. There weren’t any traces of exotic beasts inside the ravine other than a stream of clear jade-green water, together with a pond so deep its bottom couldn’t be seen.

They entered the ravine, following the stream of clear water. It was like the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon had scouted. There really wasn’t a single exotic beast inside the ravine.

It went without saying this situation was very unusual.

The inside of the ravine wasn’t small, and it had a water source. Logically speaking, there would be some weak exotic beasts present, even if there weren’t any stronger ones around.

At the very least, it would only make sense for large amounts of exotic beasts to come drink water here.

However, looking around them, there wasn’t a single exotic beast to be seen throughout this deep ravine. This was truly very unusual.

Even so, Zhang Che didn’t show any signs of disappointment. On the contrary, his face lit up with excitement.
