Thus, Alchemist tightened his brow and carefully voiced his own guess. “Instead of saying that the elves infect the Mother Tree, I think it’s the opposite: the elves connected to the Mother Tree in spirit were infected by the Mother Tree’s Chaos… it certainly requires an enormous source of infection, and it’s not on the surface.”
