“Chen Yu! Why did you secretly raise a dog without our consent?” Mother Chen asked with a stern look. “Don’t you know dogs are dirty and are covered in bacteria? What if your three little sisters get scratched by it?”

“Huh?!” Chen Yu turned to look at his three little sisters in disbelief.

Simultaneously, Chen Yike, Erke, and Sanke turned away and looked at the scenery outside the window.

Chen Yike: “It’s snowing again.”

Chen Erke: “Yeah, yeah.”

Chen Sanke: “Yeah.”

“Your sisters have already told us.” Pointing at the husky, Mother Chen said, “No matter how they tried to persuade you, you stubbornly insisted on raising it.”
