The black-robed Cardinal was rather fearful.

With that, he took to the air again and disappeared into the night.

It was a long time after the man left that the black-robed cardinal climbed out from beneath the ground under the ruined village. His black-robes had been cut to pieces by Blade Qi and he looked utterly stunned, a faint glimmer showing in his eyes as he said hoarsely, “Three Blades Lin…”

“Wasn’t he supposed to stand guard over Mount Kunlun? Why did he come here to Lingzhou City?”

The Cardinal hence stared at the direction where Three Blades Lin disappeared, a wary look showing in his eyes before he turned around, giving up on heading for Lingzhou City.

It was two in the morning, but he was not asleep.

Having just had a bath, he had changed into his silk pajamas and was lying down on his soft Simmons bed while surfing the Internet on his notebook.
